Ask Daal’s

At Daal’s, we know that brides and their wedding parties have many questions related to planning and coordinating a wedding. That’s why we started this page.  It is designed to be an open forum for you to ask any question or read other brides’ questions.  We will respond to each and every question, and will post one new question and answer to this page every day.  We encourage you to ask us any question you may have and we will answer your question to the best of our knowledge.  Remember, we have been in this business for over 30 years, and have seen it all, so please ask us anything that you are unsure about.

Q: Several of my family members want to come bridal shopping with me, but I only want to bring my mom and maid of honor.  How do I let everyone else down nicely???

A:  This happens a lot.  A bride comes in with their whole entourage.  Which don’t get us wrong is great if that is what you want.  Often what happens, is the entourage’s opinions overwhelm the bride.  We suggest that when you go bridal shopping, bring along a couple of people, whose opinions you value.  You have a lot of time to show everyone else the dress.  As for letting them down nicely, just be honest.  Let them know that you don’t want a big spectacle the first time you go and that next time or when you narrow it down, they will be invited.  It is very important that you pick a dress YOU love, not just everyone else!
