Frequently Asked Questions

Text Box: Do I need an appointment to try on dresses?
Daal’s Bridal Center is a full service salon committed to the highest standards of customer service. We ask that you schedule an appointment to try on dresses, so that we may provide our utmost attention to you during this memorable time. We will try our hardest to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. During the week, we gladly accept walk-ins if we have space available.
How long should I allow ordering my bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses?
On average, bridal gowns take approximately 4-6 months to come in, depending on the designer and gown availability. We ask that you give yourself enough time to order the dress and come in for follow-up appointments for alterations. This can take anywhere from 7-9 months. If there are time constraints, Daal’s Bridal Center will work with the designer in order to get your gown in a timely fashion. Bridesmaid dresses usually take up to 12 weeks to arrive in the salon. Daal’s recommends selecting a bridesmaid dress a minimum of five months before the wedding date. This will allow time to get measurement information from your wedding party and alterations after the dresses come in.
How do I get a dress if there are less than six months until my wedding?
If you have time constraints, there are several alternatives to choosing a wedding gown. The first option that you have is to check with the designer to see if they have the color and size in stock. If the designer does have the dress you choose available, they can send out immediately. Daal’s will often call the designer, during your appointment and check stock availability. Second, most designers that we carry have a “rush” shipping option, which usually has additional costs associated (typically in $30-$50 range). However, please be aware that a rush order typically takes about 4-6 weeks to come in. Lastly, depending on the dress you choose, you may buy off the rack and have the gown altered to your liking. Since Daal’s performs all alterations, altering a dress for you can be done immediately. Daal’s recommends that you come in and discuss your options with a bridal consultant. Just remember, time constraints should not cause you to choose a dress that you don’t love.
What payment options do I have?
Daal’s Bridal Center works with every budget. We know that weddings can be very costly, that is why we allow you to make payments whenever you feel comfortable. We do require that 50% of the gown is paid at time of ordering and the balance is required at time of gown pick-up. For most brides, this allows approximately 9 months to pay for the gown. We accept cash, check, Mastercard, or Visa.
Are alterations included in the price?
Ironing and storage are included the price of gowns purchased at Daal’s. In the event that alterations are needed on any dress, you can be assured that only fair and reasonable charges will be applied. Daal’s provides quotes on the alterations at the time of purchasing your gown. Although alterations are necessary at times, please be assured that Daal’s has over 30 years of experience in ordering gowns in sizes that allow the least amount of alterations. Daal’s also provides alterations for gowns that are purchased elsewhere. At the time of consultation, Daal’s offers a price quote on how much alterations will charge. We are committed to working with every budget to ensure that each bride looks as beautiful as possible on their special day.
What sizes are available?
Most dresses come in size 2-28. Daal’s will take your measurement information upon ordering a gown. Most samples are a size 10-16, however Daal’s carries a large assortment of dresses size 18 and up. We recommend you come into the shop to discuss any concerns about sizes you may have.
